Email addresses

If you subscribe, we store the address you enter and nothing else: no name, no institution, no specialty. It is used to send the newsletter and for no other purpose. It is never sold, rented or shared with advertisers. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing deletes the address rather than suppressing it.

Analytics and cookies

GI Daily sets no cookies and runs no advertising or cross-site tracking scripts. Our host records standard server request logs, which include IP addresses, for security and capacity purposes.

Links out

Every headline sends you to a third-party site such as PubMed, a journal or a society. Once you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies, and we have no visibility into or control over what it collects.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to erase it, at any time. The only record is your email address, so both requests are quick. Write to the address in the footer of any newsletter.
